Well, wasn't I just saying that I thought Charlie was about ready to start reading 3 letter words? Boy, I didn't think it would be so soon! The little stinker was sounding out all kinds of words for me tonight as I arranged magnetic fridge letters into such exciting gems as "dog", "cat", "hat", "sat" and "mat". I am just giddy about this new stage for Charlie and I am going to have to refrain from asking him to sound out every little word for my amusement! I did bring out my old, crushed box of Bob Books and he took a stab at the first story, "Mat". He had great success and was really pleased with himself. Yay!
