We found a free moment this afternoon to get potatoes planted. We planted 3 rows of Yukon Gold, Dark Red Norland and hmmm...one other which we've forgotten the name of temporarily. Anyway, it's another white-skinned potato. Of course Steve did most of the hard work of digging as I could not dig a straight trench if my life depended on it. (This is why I am counting on good friends to bake cakes with files in them should the need ever arise)We plan to be able to harvest by mid-July. If all goes well, we'll get about 60 pounds of potatoes out of the deal.
